Chicken Noodle Skillet in a Jar


FD stands for Freeze Dried
2 C Egg Noodles

1 Tbsp FD minced Onions

⅓ C FD Milk or Dry Milk

1½ tsp Italian Seasoning

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp Pepper

¼ C Augason Farms Butter Powder

½ C FD mixed vegetables

⅓ C FD cheese powder

1 C FD diced Chicken

A Freeze Dried Pantry Recipe

This recipe will fill 1 Quart Jar and makes 4 servings


  1. Layer all ingredients in a quart jar, beginning with egg noodles and ending with diced chicken.
  2. Store Appropriately (See Tips and Tricks for storage help)

Rehydration/Cooking Directions:

1: Empty contents of the jar into a large skillet. 

2: Add 3½ C water and bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. 

3: Reduce heat and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring frequently. 

4: Remove from heat and let sit for 3-5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.

* Large Tray = 8 Cups/tray   Medium = 6 Cups/Tray   Small = 4 Cups/Tray
