Directions:
- Layer the ingredients in the jar for a visually appealing presentation. While layering isn’t necessary, it adds a nice touch!
- Store in jars for short-term use or in mylar bags for long-term storage
Rehydration:
- Pour the contents of one jar into a large skillet.
- Add 4 cups of hot water and stir well to combine.
- Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to allow the ingredients to begin rehydrating.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.
- Stir and serve hot. Enjoy!
Notes:
It's important to cook this dish thoroughly since the egg noodles were added to the jar in their uncooked state. Allowing them to fully simmer ensures they become tender and absorb the flavors of the sauce, creating a well-balanced dish.
