Chicken and Rice Soup (Freeze Dried Pantry Recipe)


6 Cups of Chicken Broth (Freeze Dried Chicken Broth Reconstituted 6 TBSP Broth to 6 Cups of Water)

~1 to 1½ C Freeze Dried Mixed Vegetables

~¼- ½ C Freeze Dried Carrots

~¼- ½ C Freeze Dried Diced Potatoes

~½ C Freeze Dried Chicken bite sized pieces

~¼ C Freeze Dried Celery

~¼ C Freeze Dried Onions

~½ C Freeze Dried Rice

Salt and Pepper to taste

This recipe uses all ingredients from your freeze dried pantry, freeze drying not intended


  1. Add Chicken Broth to your Large Crock Pot, then add all of the freeze dried ingredients, EXCEPT the rice. 
  2. Cook on low in the crock pot for a few hours. 
  3. Add the rice, and salt and pepper to taste and cook an additional 3-4 minutes
