This recipe will make as many trays as you choose to make*

Directions:

  1. Peel Onions and slice into 1-1½ inch strips
  2. You can stack these up on your trays, they do not stick to each other, they also do not stick to your tray.
  3. Pre-freeze or go directly into the freeze dryer
  4. Freeze Dry
  5. Store Appropriately (See Tips and Tricks for storage help)

Cycle Time:

Pre-frozen 16 hours

Rehydration:

Not intended, these are super crunchy and can be eaten like a chip, dips well into chip dips.

* Extra Large Tray = 15 Cups/Tray   Large Tray = 8 Cups/tray   Medium = 6 Cups/Tray   Small = 4 Cups/Tray Cycle times & rehydration for reference only. Your results may vary.
