2 avocados

10 oz fresh pineapple

3 cups unsweetened oat milk

Avocado Smoothie

This recipe makes about 6 cups of Smoothie and 4 servings

Directions:

  1. Cut the 2 avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a blender
  2. Add 22 oz of fresh pineapple to the blender
  3. Pour in 3 cups of unsweetened oat milk
  4. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 30–60 seconds
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired (you can add a little maple syrup or banana if needed)
  6. Add parchment paper to your trays. Pour the smoothie onto your tray, then add the dividers in the 40 portion configuration. Freeze until frozen solid
  7. Freeze dry (cycle time was 36 hours)
  8. This can be stored as 10 squares per pint bag to make single serving portions. 

Rehydration:

Place one serving of smoothie into a large cup, add 1 - 1 ½ Cups of cold water and stir. To make it colder, you can add a ¼ cup of ice and place it in a blender with the other ingredients and blend until smooth. 

Notes:

This is excellent rehydrated with either coconut water or pineapple juice to add some more tropical flavor.
